The Challenge

All Over Towing was an established towing operation with consistent work through insurance company contracts. Despite years in business, they were invisible online, no website, no digital presence, and entirely reliant on phone calls and existing commercial relationships for new work.

With less than 10 Google reviews and no systematic way to generate more, reviews sat unanswered and potential customers searching for towing services couldn't find them. There was no CRM, no customer management system, and no way to track where inquiries came from or measure conversion.

The business was entirely dependent on insurance company contracts with zero direct B2C lead generation. Every customer who searched “towing near me” and found a competitor instead represented a missed opportunity, not because All Over Towing couldn't do the work, but because they simply didn't exist where customers were looking.

(What We Found)

Website

No website at all. Relied entirely on phone and existing relationships. Potential customers couldn’t find them online.

Reputation

Less than 10 Google reviews despite years in business. No systematic review generation. Reviews left unresponded to.

Lead Management

No CRM or customer management system. Manual tracking and customer management. Can’t track inquiry sources or conversion.

Market Position

Entirely dependent on insurance company contracts. No direct B2C lead generation. Missing opportunities from customers searching for towing.

Strategic Approach

The strategy was straightforward: build a digital foundation from the ground up and automate the growth engine. Five pillars guided the engagement:

  1. Build a simple, conversion-focused website
  2. Implement CRM with lead capture
  3. Deploy reputation management automation
  4. Create a systematic review request process
  5. Build a local SEO foundation for search visibility

Rather than a complex marketing strategy, the approach prioritised systems that would work without constant manual effort, essential for a small operations team that spends their day on the road, not behind a desk.

(Implementation)

01

Phase 1: Website Development

Built a simple, fast-loading website with a clear value proposition , emergency towing available, alongside a full service menu, multiple contact options, mobile-responsive design, and Google Business Profile integration.

The purpose was threefold: establish a professional online presence, capture direct inquiries from customers searching for towing services, and establish legitimacy in search results.

02

Phase 2: CRM Implementation

Implemented a CRM with website contact form auto-capture, phone tracking integration, inquiry source tracking, and customer information centralisation. Every lead now flows into a single system instead of scattered notes and missed calls.

Pipeline management with lead status tracking, follow-up automation, and customer communication history gives the team visibility into every conversation and ensures no opportunity slips through the cracks.

03

Phase 3: Reputation Management System

This was the key innovation. Automated review requests are sent after service completion via SMS and email with a direct Google review link. The friction of leaving a review drops to a single tap.

Reputation management automation monitors incoming reviews in real-time, categorising by sentiment and auto-responding to all reviews with customisable templates. Positive reviews get a professional thank you. Negative reviews are escalated for immediate personal attention.

The result: consistent review velocity without adding a single manual task to the team's workload.

The Transformation

Over 10 months, All Over Towing went from invisible but established to visible, professional, and growing. Reviews grew from less than 10 to 29+ with consistent monthly velocity, approximately 2 new reviews every month, generated automatically.

Every review now gets a professional response, even automatically for simple positive feedback. The 100% response rate builds the perception of a responsive, attentive business, the kind of company you trust when your car breaks down at the side of the road.

The business now has direct customer inquiries flowing through the website, a growing reputation as a responsive professional operation, and a foundation for expanding beyond insurance contracts into B2C. Insurance companies themselves see the growing public reputation, reinforcing the commercial relationship from both directions.

(Key Learnings)

01

Service Businesses Need Reviews

Towing is an emergency and crisis service. Trust signals are critical for decision-making. Reviews from satisfied customers are powerful marketing. A manual approach leaves money on the table.

02

Automation is Essential for Small Teams

A small operations team can’t manually respond to every review. An automated system scales without adding staff. Professional response time is preserved. No reviews slip through the cracks.

+
03

Reputation Management is Underutilised

Most businesses don’t systematically manage reviews. Quick response time signals professionalism. Public responses build brand trust. Addressing concerns publicly shows accountability.

+
04

Website as Lead Capture, Not Branding

All Over Towing didn’t need fancy design. They needed a functional hub for customer information. A contact form captures direct inquiries. It provides the foundation for CRM and automation.

+
05

B2B + B2C Opportunity

Started with B2B through insurance contracts. Can now expand to B2C with direct customers searching online. Same service, different acquisition channel. Reputation management enables both.

+
06

Systematic Beats Heroic

No special marketing tactics were needed. Systematic review collection from existing customers. Automated responses to every review. Consistent execution outperforms occasional effort every time.

Replicate These Results

This approach works for service businesses with existing customers but no review strategy, small teams who can't manually manage reputation, businesses dependent on a single channel wanting to diversify, and any operation where trust signals directly impact customer decisions.

We build the same systems every day. If you want a growing reputation, automated review management, and marketing infrastructure you actually own, let's talk.
