CRM Integration

Why HighLevel?

Because for a service business it collapses a stack. Forms, pipelines, SMS, email, calendars, review requests and reporting in one place, with an HighLevel API good enough to drive from a Next.js form rather than an embedded iframe. The alternative is a CRM, an email tool, a scheduling tool and a review tool, four subscriptions and three integrations that break independently. HighLevel is not the most elegant product in any one of those categories. It wins on the seams.

What does a wired-in integration look like?

The form is ours: our markup, our validation, our error states, posting server-side to the API so no credentials touch the browser. The contact is created or updated, tagged with its source, attached to an opportunity in the right pipeline stage. Nothing about it looks or feels like an embedded widget.

What happens after an enquiry arrives?

A reply inside sixty seconds, by SMS and email, whether or not anyone is at a desk. A pipeline stage, an owner and a follow-up sequence. Escalation if nobody responds. Quote follow-ups that fire on their own. A review request when a job is marked complete, timed to the moment a customer is most likely to act, with unhappy responses routed to the owner first.

What are the traps?

Several things fail silently. Tags trigger workflows, so an innocuous-looking tag can start a sequence nobody intended. A two-way message can remove a contact from a pipeline mid-nurture. And a test lead with a real-looking phone number reaches a real person. Every one of those is a lesson learned the hard way rather than read in documentation.
